Poutine is Actually Good

PoutineMarquette, MIJuly 18, 2017 – This past weekend I was able to get away from the U.P. for the weekend. I took a ride down to Detroit to visit my sister and my friends, catch a Tigers game, and just hang out.

While out to lunch at a nice little spot in Ferndale with my sister, we decided to get an appetizer. Having heard good things about Poutine but never having tried it, I saw it on the menu and was intrigued. We got an order of poutine and when it came to the table, it didn’t look particularly appetizing.

Looks can be deceiving.

Poutine is so salty and delicious, it is perfect as an appetizer. Canada has given America plenty of bad things (I’m looking at you, young Justin Bieber), but giving us Poutine almost makes up for all of their previous flaws.

Thank you Canada, for the wonderful salty delicious treat of Poutine.
