Marquette, MI – February 4, 2012 – Northern Michigan University Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) is presenting the 5th Annual Jam for Love Ski and Snowboard Competition at Marquette Mountain. The event will take place on Saturday, February 4th, with pre-registration at 5:30 pm, and the event will start at 7 pm.
All proceeds from this event go to support Camp Star of the U.P. Children’s Bereavement Network, a grievance camp for kids who have lost a loved one.
NMU’s PRSSA has teamed up with Double Trouble DJs and Marquette Mountain to make this a fun filled event, for a great cause. If you are into winning prizes, shredding some gnar, helping children, and having a great time then you must head out to Marquette Mountain for the Jam for Love Ski and Snowboard Competition. Bring your friends and family along too, even if they don’t know how to ride. There will be a raffle with prizes provided by local U.P. businesses.
Two kids involved with the Camp Star program came into our studios to record the commercials for this event. If you would like to hear them, click below.
