Your Chance to VOTE for Your Favorite Artist is Tomorrow Night on The 2011 CMT Music Awards

Marquette, MI – I’m so looking forward to tomorrow night for the 2011 CMT Music Awards, live on CMT at 8pm EST! It’s our chance as fans to VOTE the Artists in for these awards so take this exciting way to get involved and VOTE tomorrow! I find that watching the videos from some of my favorite artists gives me a whole new perspective on that song and CMT is by far the best resource for artist videos so if you’re not up to speed on the nominees, check it out HERE.

Nominees for the very best “Video of the Year” include some awesome artists like: Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland, The Band Perry, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift & Zac Brown Band. I will say that’s quite a list and I’m not sure yet just how I will be voting!

It’s also exciting to me to see some new faces on the country side of things like Justin Bieber who’s up with Rascal Flatts for nomination of best “Collaborative Video of the Year” along with Kelly Clarkson featured on Jason Aldean’s “Don’t You Wanna Stay”. Aaron Lewis is also up on this nomination with “Country Boy” featuring George Jones and Charlie Daniels plus a very unique trio Loretta Lynn, Miranda Lambert & Sheryl Crow in “Coal Miner’s Daughter”.

Another reason to tune in tomorrow night is a very new addition to the line up, recent American Idol winner, Scotty McCreery along with runner-up Lauren Alaine will be performing during the award show! I loved watching both Lauren & Scotty during their battle to #1 on American Idol and it continually amazed me that they both either picked or were assigned country tunes that we hear & love each day on The Country Extreme 103.3 WFXD! I mean, Scotty just did a beautiful, jaw-dropping job of Kenny Chesney’s tune & Lauren Alaine sounded just as lovely as the original LeAnn Rimes on assigned song, “I Hope You Dance”. Bottom line, they both have amazing talent with a bright future and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for them both. I hope to be playing some of their upcoming stuff right here on The Country Extreme 103.3fm

Now don’t forget, the most important part about the CMT Music Awards is the outcome comes straight from us, the Country Music FANS! So your job is to get online, review the Nominee’s then log-on or click HERE TO VOTE for your favorite artists tomorrow night (June 8, 2011) at 8pm EST – Happy Voting 🙂
