My younger brother and sister have been working hard to get their pigs ready for the fairs this year and now they will be bringing them down to the U.P. State Fair in Escanaba to show and sell them!

Yes, it is a sad time on Sunday when they have to say goodbye to their piggys, but it makes it worth it when they can pay for college or get a car from all their hard work!

Both of their pigs will be down at the fair; they are with the North Country 4-H group of Alger County, and they are looking for buyers!

My sister will be showing her pig and then after the fair she is headed down to her 1st year at Michigan State! My little brother will be there, but since he is in a full leg cast he will not be showing his pig; he is going to be a freshman in high school. My sister will show his pig if she can.

Let me know if you or anyone you know is interested. The auction starts Saturday morning, August 19th, in the U.P. State Fair Livestock show ring!

The fair is August 13th-19th! They’re a little muddy, but here are the pigs!
