We woke up to snow Saturday morning and the flurries continued all day long!
After Gwinn JV football Thursday, Negaunee vs. Ishpeming football Friday and Superior Central’s homecoming Saturday, it was safe to say that I was frozen!
Thursday was the calm before the storm. Then Friday was very cold, but minimal snow fall for the game, which Negaunee won 20-8 over Ishpeming. Saturday we sat in the car and waited for the snow/rain to slow down before we went out to watch the parade for the SCHS homecoming.
The theme for homecoming was “Games” and my brothers freshman class chose Chess for their float. He ran around the float with a shield, with his friend who had a sword.
Sunday’s weather was still cool, but at least the snow stopped; a perfect day to walk in the woods and look for good hunting spots with my dad.
Now this week is suppose to be warmer, but rain all week…looks like I’ll be doing projects inside this week! Hopefully the snow and rain hold off so we can have a couple nice weeks to get stuff done before winter sets in!
