The Greater Ishpeming/Negaunee Chamber of Commerce will host their second annual dinner on Saturday, October 13 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Wawonowin Country Club in Ishpeming.

ABC 10 Anchor Cynthia Thompson will emcee the event and feature Eric Dompierre.
Eric will speak about a community that stood behind him as he and his family fought for his right to finish high school on the football field with his friends and teammates. His story is a great example of what makes Western Marquette County unique.
The evening will include music, networking, food, drink, and silent and live auction.
I have personally seen Eric play and the crowd go wild when he scores an extra point or a field goal! His teammates carry him off the field and it is like that every single time! I would love to hear his speech!
