Jason Aldean’s latest album, “Night Train”, has debuted at #1 in its first week out!
It’s at the top of the Billboard country albums chart and Billboard 200! It’s the second highest debut this year for all music genres with 409,000 copies sold.
It’s also had the best first-week in sales since 2010 when Taylor Swift’s “Speak Now” album came out. But, Jason better enjoy it because Taylor’s “Red” also debuted this week and it is expected to hit one million sales in it’s first week. That would make Taylor the only female in the Nielsen SoundScan era to have two albums sell one million copies in their first week.
Also out this week, at #2 Scotty McCrerry’s “Christmas With Scotty,” Jamey Johnson’s Hank Cochran tribute “Living for a Song” at #3, Little Big Town’s “Tornado” is at #4, and at #5 is Carrie Underwood’s “Blown Away.”
