Here at Great Lakes Radio, Dennis, from “On the Job With Dennis” and I had a little CMA competition.
Dennis printed off the nominees for each category and we choose who we thought would win. No bets, no penalties, just some friendly competition.
I tried to be the ballot enforcer and collect the votes before leaving work, but that didn’t work.
This morning I showed up with a 5-7 tally. I got: Musical Event of the Year, Vocal Duo of the Year, Single of the Year, Album of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year right!
Dennis was 3-9. He got: Vocal Group of the Year, Single of the Year, and Musical Event of the Year right!
Between the two of us we were 6-6…50% not too bad.
Looks like we might have a ritual started for awards shows now!
