American Idol season 10 winner, Phillip Phillips, has made country music news on with his latest hit single “Home.”
The hit went from #89 on the Billboard Hot 100 to #9 after being played during women’s gymnastics in the Olympics.
People seem to love the song and even though it may not be called country, it definitely has a country vibe to it with the twanging-guitars. Country Music Television carrying the news also seems to hint at a country music career for the new artist.
