Of all the things to eat at a Thanksgiving meal my three favorites are (in no particular order) mashed potatoes and gravy, jellied cranberries, and pumpkin pie. Nothing can beat those three flavors on my plate for Thanksgiving!
Many people are big into turkey on Thanksgiving, I really only eat a piece or two of Turkey on Thanksgiving because it’s pretty much an unwritten rule that you have to eat Turkey on Thanksgiving. No matter who makes the turkey, I don’t care if it is the best chef in the world, I’d still rather have my 3 favorites over the turkey. It’s not that turkey is bad, I’d just rather treat my taste buds to something better.
More important than the food this Thanksgiving, however, is to remember to be thankful. Of course I am thankful for a delicious meal, but I’m most thankful for the blessings God gives me every day. Each and every person in my family is a blessing.. my parents, my brother, my grandparents, and aunts, uncles, and cousins. I’m also thankful for and blessed with many amazing friends and SO many other things.
As you enjoy your thanksgiving meal, take some time and remember to be thankful for all you’ve been blessed with.
