Marquette, MI – September 24, 2020 – Usually hosted in mid-May on 103 FXD, we had to delay our annual St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Radiothon, but we’re back and with an even bigger goal!
At the end of Day Two last year, we raised $14,970 for St. Jude. This year we’re looking to break the $15,000 mark because COVID may have stopped us for a bit, but caner never stops. Just like past years, our DJs are live for two days, 6am to 6pm, to bring you four story songs an hour and infinite chances to help save lives!
Tomorrow hear from our Title Sponsor Hardee’s of Marquette. Travis, General Manager at Hardee’s will be in with Eric Scott 8am. Hardee’s has donated over $930,000 to St. Jude since 2012. This year Hardee’s will be matching some of our donations again with a matching hour earlier today from 12-1pm and tomorrow 5-6pm!
Within the first 9 hours of the radiothon we raised $3,838, more than a quarter of our goal! Ending Day One at $5,340, join us again tomorrow for the second half of the St. Jude Radiothon!
If you missed out on donating today, join the #ThisShirtSavesLives movement and becoming a Partner in Hope tomorrow or donate whatever you can give! It’s just $20 a month, 66 cents per day! At St. Jude, families never receive a bill. Your donation will help fund cancer research that will be shared with our local hospitals, cover treatments for patients, and pay for lodging and meals for families. Plus when you become a Partner in Hope you’ll get a limited edition t-shirt!
Day Two starts bright and early tomorrow morning at 6:00am on Marquette’s Hit Country 103 FXD with Eric Scott. Luke Ghiardi takes over from 10a-3p and Adam Carpenter will close out the evening from 3-6p.
