Marquette, MI  –  May 16, 2019  –  For the seventh year in a row, 103.3 WFXD returned today for the first of two days promoting the annual St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Radiothon. Each year our DJs put in two long days of live radio to help save lives with St. Jude! We’re on air today and tomorrow from 6am-7pm encouraging local listeners like you to become a Partner in Hope.

It’s just $20 a month, 66 cents a day! It’s just giving up one day a month of eating out or giving up one coffee a week. When you become a Partner in Hope you are helping pay for treatments, housing, and food for St. Jude patients and families, plus all of the research St. Jude works on and then shares with hospitals all around the world. A family who comes to St. Jude never receives a bill for the costs of travel or treatment and can just focus on helping their child live.

At 3pm today we were already passed the amount raised during day 1 last year! Well ahead of last year’s total already, we are wrapping up today’s fundraising at $5,480. Thanks to everyone who showed up today to make a difference. We’re looking to hit a grand total of $14,000 this year and because of you, we are already almost half there!

Day two starts bright and early tomorrow morning at 6:00am on 103.3 WFXD. Tomorrow Travis, General Manager at Hardee’s will be in with Eric Scott in the morning before Luke Ghiardi and Kelsey Reyes take over from 10a-3p and Mark and Dawn Evans close out the evening from 3-7p.  Call in to become a Partner in Hope between 6am – 7pm at (906) 361-9393 or donate online:

Special thanks to our sponsors: Hardee’s, Breakers Roadhouse, Elder Agency, First Bank, Sankovitch Homes, Smarty’s Saloon, Stucko’s Pub & Grill, Super One Foods, Swick Home Services, U.P. Engineers & Architects, Inc., A&M Cafe, LaCosse & Associates, and Dr. Dan Mazzuchi.
