Marquette, MI – June 29, 2018 – Mark Evans from our sister station, Sunny.FM, joined Super One Food of Marquette today for another classic charity cook out. The Super One Foods chain does numerous cook outs throughout the summer to benefit local organizations and charities. Today, the supermarket chose to help the Keweenaw area community member, donating all of the funds to the Keweenaw Community Relief Fund.
Mark Evans was live on the radio to catch with staff members from Super One Foods. Listeners got to hear from our local grocery store about what supporting the Keweenaw meant to them as well. Stop by to support your Upper Peninsula community and help rebuild what was lost in Houghton and the surrounding area. The cook out is just $5 for a ribeye steak sandwich, chips, and a drink!
Mark also highlighted some of the great deals you can take advantage just in time for July 4th! Stop by the store to shop deep discounts like boneless pork loin for just $1.66 per pound! Making burgers? Pick up a family pack of 80% lean ground beef for 2.69 per pound! And you can’t forget drinks. Enjoy a cold glass of Simply Lemonade while watching the parade; it’s just $2.99 a bottle.
Can’t make it out today? Mail your contribution to Keweenaw Community Foundation, 236 Quincy Street, Hancock, MI 49930. Follow the fund on Facebook for more information.
Don’t forget to stop inside Super One Foods to register for our Silverado Summer Giveaway!
