Great Lakes Radio’s After-Glow Party Was a Hit

Even After the MAFCA Convention Left Town The Events Kept Coming

One of the classic cars!

The line for brats was long and the cars were many! With over 500 people and 150 cars, the After-Glow Party this past Saturday couldn’t have gone better.

Applebee’s area director, Mitch Ohman,  was there to speak live on Sunny 101.9 and Township Supervisor Dennis Liimatta, was also there to do a live interview on Sunny 101.9. People across the U.P. heard it and drove in to have some fun!

The Applebee’s meal was great and families got to enjoy music from Sunny 101.9 and prizes!

The Sunny Morning Show with Walt and Mike talked with Marquette Township Community Events Chair LeAnne Kachmarsky, and Township Manager Randy Girard, during the previous weeks and played a huge role in making the event such a success.

Many volunteers also helped out by directing cars and getting the “Catch The Vision” cruise organized. People were lined up at Presque Isle Park to see the cars.

THANK YOU Great Lakes Radio, Marquette Charter Township, and Applebee’s for working together to make sure everyone in the community heard about the event on the radio and for making the event fun for everyone!
