Dennis joined the Great Lakes Radio staff at the end of July as the Office Administrative Assistant. Assisting Major Discount in his persistent quest to SELL, SELL, SELL for GLR, Dennis’ mission is to afford the Major as much time as possible on the street to sell ads for the company and also assist Sales and Production Staff with any of their operational duties. So, since the Major needs more Sales time, Dennis inherited his mid- day shift.

A native New Yorker, later moving to Southeastern Ohio, Dennis spent most of his life finding out what Lisa Douglas experienced after moving from the Big Apple to Hooterville. From high school in Marietta, Ohio to three years of college in Latrobe, Pa. Studying Media Communication; to serving in the Coast Guard, I have experienced a wide variety of life’s opportunities and occupational experiences. After the service, I settled in East Jordan, MI.; got married, developed an interest in firearm marksmanship then later introduced the first action handgun competition to the Harbor Springs Outdoor Club while living in Emmett County. Dennis and his wife, Debbie moved to the UP in December of 2000, on an invite to work for the State of Michigan. Further development of firearm skills and instructional certification during a 7 year membership with the Negaunee Rod & Gun Club, I became a Certified Range Safety Officer, Certified Instructor for Concealed Carry and Course Designer for annual Action Steel Plate Competitions.
May of 2008 afforded me the opportunity to revisit an earlier passion of playing drums after 20 years and I have connected with Kurt and the Wednesday Nite Music Club. An avid hockey fan from his high school days, a lover of good N. Y.-style pizza; I am looking forward to the opportunity of assisting in the growth of Great Lakes Radio!!!
