Marquette, MI – December 20, 2018 – We’re featuring Marquette Hockey tonight as Big Game of the Week. Tune in tonight to each the full Marquette Varsity Hockey Game as the boys travel to Kingsford to face the Flivvers.
John Thomsen will be on-air for a 6:30pm Pre-Game Show, John will talk about last weekend’s successful sweep during the Marquette Showcase. The boys ended the weekend with double wins, 5-2 against West Ottawa and 1-0 against Bay Area Reps. The varsity hockey team will hit the ice at 7:00pm for puck drop. Also traveling to Kingsford tonight is the Marquette Redettes girls basketball team. At 7:15 on our sister station, Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 & 99.9 Luke Ghiardi will be live from Kingsford for a 7:15pm Pre-game Show. Unlike the Redettes, the Redmen Hockey team will play again before the new year. The boys will host another weekend series starting with their first game on Friday, December 28th. The 8:00pm home game will be against Bay City, with a 3:00pm game against Sault Ste. Marie on Saturday. John will return to Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 & 99.9 for the weekend of sports action.
The Redettes return the air waves on Tuesday, January 8th, traveling to Escanaba to face the Eskymos. The girls will play that game at 7:15 pm with a 6:45pm Pre-Game Show on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 & 99.9.
