Suicide Hill Mud Plunge

Join us for the 2nd Annual Suicide Hill Mud Plunge! Last year we watched 741 participants hit the trails between Ishpeming and Negaunee… this year, we’re planning for a bigger, better, muddier race! Here’s what you can look forward too:

Two separate races for the 5k Adventure Run

A. Lindberg & Sons Competitive Run
Bell Hospital Fun Run

A Kids 1k Adventure – A separate course with obstacles & mud!

CrossFit 906 Kids Run

New obstacles! More climbing walls! And more mud! The Suicide Hill Mud Plunge is a 5k adventure run, complete with obstacles and mud pits. Participants have the choice of running as an individual or as a team of four. All members of a team must cross the finish line together, arms locked. The idea is yes, to have a competition, but even more so, it’s to have fun! We’re hoping to once again see families, friends, even teams from businesses, pulling each other through the course, sharing a one of a kind experience together in Western Marquette County!

A portion of the money raised from the event will go to the Ishpeming Ski Club for recreational development at Suicide Hill. Last year we were able to donate $2,000 to the club which was used for signage at the trails, making it easier for those looking to hike, ski, and bike the great trails at the ski bowl.

Each participant will take home a t-shirt & water bottle (must register by August 1st) Cash Prizes

$300 for 1st place teams of each division (men, women, co-ed)
$175 for 2nd place teams of each division
$100 for 3rd place teams of each division
