Conditions for the weekend have been ever changing but we are still in store for a wide variety of precipitation types. From sleet to rain the heaviest rain will move in later in the evening hours of Saturday. Sunday morning we can experience one last round of snow in the west, accumulation is looking to between 1-3 inches in most areas and 3-6 inches in the western counties.
Friday: Mostly sunny then increasing clouds with a chance of snow and sleet late in the Western U.P.; cool

Saturday: Mostly cloudy with a moderate to heavy wintry mix, transitioning to freezing rain and non-freezing rain in the afternoon; chance of isolated thunderstorms south late afternoon and evening; blustery

Sunday: Mostly cloudy with a moderate to heavy wintry mix, transitioning to snow throughout the day; snowfall accumulations from 1-7″, with amounts greater than 7″ over the highlands west; blustery

Monday: Partly cloudy with isolated a.m. lake effect snow showers over the northwest wind belts; seasonal temperatures
