Weather Updates from TV6 Meteorologists Karl Bohnak and Jennifer Perez
High pressure in Ontario will slowly shift south into the Great Lakes. This will result in a dry and sunny stretch. However, winds will be out the north with gusts around 20-25 leading to brisk conditions this afternoon. Then, a shift in winds will keep us in a southerly flow tomorrow through the weekend. Gusty southerly winds, dry, warmer, and sunny conditions put the U.P. at a high fire danger risk. Avoid brush burning and be careful with any campfires. Next week the pattern becomes more active with two disturbances bringing rain to the area Monday through Wednesday.
