Porterfield, WI – June 14th-16th, 2013 – I got to go to the Porterfield Country Music Festival in Wisconsin this year to see, Jo Dee Messina, Randy Houser, Florida Georgia Line, The LO Cash Cowboys, Jon Pardi, and Collin Raye.
When Jo Dee sang “My Give A Damn’s Busted” it was my favorite! She has such a clear, precise voice; it’s easy to see why she’s a county classic!
She also shared stories about her kids, ages 4 and 1.

Kristin Kelly was amazing! Plus I got my picture taken with her and talked to her. She said I sounded just like her best friend from Texas!
When she sang “He Love To Make Me Cry” it was so powerful! I love that song!

“Up All Night” and “Missin You Crazy” singer Jon Pardi was great!
Collin Raye was so good! He sang “If You Get There Before I Do,” “Little Rock,” “One Boy One Girl,” “Little Red Rodeo,” “I Can Still Feel You” and a bunch more good ones!

The Lo Cash Cowboys were amazing! They were like country rappers! They end every performance with the Beastie Boys “You’ve Gotta Fight For Your Right To Party” in salute to our military men and women!

Even though it started raining and we almost left…I was very happy when we snuck into the “Stars Enterance” to see if Randy was still going to sing through all of the lightening. He did and we rolled under a barbwire fence to go watch. By that time, we were so soaked the mud puddles we rolled through didn’t matter.
Randy House was worth it!!

Florida Georgia Line was great! They put on a great performance and really got the crowd into it. Everyone stood in the rain to watch them!

We will be going to the Porterfield Country Music Festival again next year!!
