2/4/2015 Marquette, Michigan — I normally don’t ask such a question! It’s a ridiculous question, too. Lately, I’ve been wondering why most of the snow storms across the midwest have been missing Marquette County? What gives? Chicago and Milwaukee just got hammered with nearly a foot of snow. The Copper Country and parts of Alger and Schoolcraft Counties are being hammered with 6+ inches through tonight and tomorrow.
So, I ask again… where’s the snow!?! We received 3+ feet of snow back in November (who could forget that storm?) and now we haven’t received anything that was very measurable. I’m actually a little saddened by this. I’m enjoying the fact that this winter hasn’t nearly been as cold as last winter. But I’m not enjoying the fact that Marquette County has dodged many of the winter storms lately.
Most of you will disagree with me and think I’m crazy for suggesting this. But, we are in desperate need of a MAJOR winter storm! I say, bring it on! Now, I better look out… I’m going to regret saying this!
