We had a jam packed show today. Our first check in was with Greg at Paradise Recreational Sports in Luce County. He was happy to report that they have been continually receiving snow and the trails are all open and being groomed. Greg also gave us some reports for ice fishermen in his neck of the woods. Next we took care of all the requests for a talk with Steve Koski at Indian Country Sports. He went through the myriad of reports on inland lakes in Baraga County and what they are catching. We then talked about how far along Huron Bay was for ice as well as Keweenaw Bay. Steve then explained that the Falls River fishing had slowed and parts were now unfishable. Stevo and I had some fun today on the Big Boy Sports Recap as we discussed the slew of coaching news from the NFL. We also mentioned that the Red Wings are back on the ice tonight in Arizona and also discussed some rumors about Tigers OF possibilities.
Our bluegrass cuts today were from Mountain Heart and Balsam Range while George Strait’s Down and Out was the Outlaw Cut. For Elmer’s Am. Country Gold Cut, we played an old Ricky Skaggs ripper titled Country Boy.
