With the passing of Merle Haggard on Wednesday, I’ll be playing Merle Haggard tunes throughout the evening on Saturday night during American Country Gold on 103-FXD and WFXD.com. Unfortunately Merle passed away at the age of 79 on his 79th birthday. Merle was known as the TRUE outlaw of country music. We remember Merle Haggard here at 103-FXD and WFXD.com and we’ll spotlight Merle during my show on Saturday night. Rest in peace, Merle Haggard.
