Marquette, MI – June 29, 2018 – Next week International Food Fest takes over Ellwood Mattson Lower Harbor for the 33rd Annual Food Fest! The Marquette Exchange Club hosts this event each year to raise money for their group to help support other organizations in the community. Over $900,000 has been given back to the community from the proceeds of past Food Fests!
Treat yourself to three days of great ethnic favorites including Asian, Italian, and American eats. From Moday, July 2nd to Wednesday, July 4th, you’ll have the chance to taste flavors of Marquette inspired from all different places throughout the world! Grab a slice of pizza from Marquette’s popular pizzeria, Aubree’s, or enjoy some sweet and sour chicken from K’s Oriental! Come hungry to enjoy dishes and drinks from local vendors plus live music every day.
Monday and Tuesday, the live music starts at 2pm and runs until 10:00pm each night. Wednesday the exchange club is kicking things off right away with music from 12pm until 10pm, leading up to the 4th of July Fireworks!
There will also be a Family Fun Zone sponsored by Meijer. The area is completely free, so bring your kids and let them enjoy all of the activities set up just for kids!
