Marquette, Michigan – August 22, 2014 – Tadych’s Econo Foods served up a great breakfast from the largest frying pan in the UP!
Store Manager Zach Quinnell and Tom Lesandrini a marketing consultant with Michael Foods cooked up a spectacular free breakfast for customers today. Scrambled eggs, loaded eggs, donut holes, and fruit salad were on the menu and they’re also hosting a free lunch today from 11 am to 2 pm.
Tom Lesandrini, a Crystal Falls native, brought the giant Crystal Farms frying pan to Marquette. Michael Foods had the gigantic frying pan, which measures about 5-feet across and is the largest frying pan in the U.P., made so they could host customer appreciation breakfasts just like the one today at Tadych’s Econo Foods.
Tom said Michael Foods cracks over 800 billion eggs each year to make their products which include Crystal Farms products. Wow! That’s a lot of eggs. Speaking of a lot of eggs, Tom said he cooked 1,800 eggs today – three hundred at a time – in that giant frying pan and used a dustpan to flip all those eggs!
