I sure had a lot of fun today bringing you all the best country and bluegrass music, right here on 103-FXD! We heard some great new alternative country music, and we had some great Outdoor Reports as well!
My first guest on the Outdoor Reports for today was a brand new guest! I spoke with Monica Joseph, a Wildlife Biologist for the MDNR who works the Crystal Falls Deer Check Station. She had a ton of great information for us today, and she told us all about what hunters in her area have been bringing through the check station. She also gave us her thoughts as to why deer hunters have been seemingly much more successful this year than last year.

Due to a power outage at our main radio tower, I didn’t get a chance to play Steve Koski’s interview yesterday over the air. So, I though I would give hunters a chance to catch Steve’s reports again today! He told us all about the deer that he’s seen at his shop, and he commented on how it seems that this year the bucks that have been harvested are bigger than in recent years. We also discussed some predator hunting and fishing as well!
Fridays are always a big day for the Big Boy Sports Recap, and Steve and I had a ton of stuff to talk about today! We started out talking about how I think the MLB and NHL regular seasons are too long compared to other sports. Of course, we made our picks for this upcoming weekend’s NFL games, and we even talked some college football!
