Marquette, Michigan – November 21st, 2015 – I put a lid on Deer Hunter’s Round-Up Saturday night during American Country Gold on 103-FXD and WFXD.com. I decided since I was so busy the past two Saturday nights that I would only do Deer Hunter’s Round-Up for two Saturday’s in a row this year instead of three Saturday’s. I was pretty tired on Saturday night after the show, and since next Saturday, November 28th is Elmer’s Pick Night, I figured this would be the perfect opportunity.
I heard from many camps across the Upper Peninsula that had success during deer season so far! I was quite surprised with the amount of success reported by my loyal fans on Saturday night. From Camp Shoot-a-Little-Doe to Camp Tampon, success was reported in the deep Wilderness in the U.P. from one end to the other.
I had the pleasure to speak with Terry Minzey and Russ Mason once again with the Michigan DNR. I interviewed both Terry and Russ around 8:30pm on Saturday night. We continued on the topic of C.W.D. (Chronic Wasting Disease) which was reported in several deer in Michigan. This is a VERY big concern for the State of Michigan since our neighboring State of Wisconsin has been dealing with this disease. I asked the questions, and Terry and Russ answered each question during the interview. You can listen to the interview below:
