I had a great time on today’s show bringing you all the best country and bluegrass music, only on 103-FXD! We heard some great alternative country as well, and the Outlaw Cut for today was “Johnny Come Lately” from the awesome artist Steve Earle! The gun deer hunting season may be over, but hunters still have plenty of opportunities to get out there and bag that big buck!
The first of today’s Outdoor Reports was with Steve Koski from Indian Country Sports in L’Anse, MI. He gave us his reports for the gun deer hunting season, and he saw what other deer check stations have seen with fewer numbers of deer but the deer that were taken were all bigger than in years past. We also discussed in-line muzzleloaders, and we wrapped-up his reports talking about some good fishing on the West end of the U.P.
For my second Outdoor Report from today, I caught-up with Captain John from Daybreak Charters, and he had some awesome reports for us today! Now that the big lake fishing season has come to an end, Captain John has been spending his time at a HUGE Texas deer ranch guiding hunters to some monster deer. He talked with us about his strategies for late season bow hunting in the U.P. and he gave us some of his stories from his time at the Texas deer ranch.

On today’s Big Boy Sports Recap, Steve and I first talked about the latest Detroit Red Wings game and the interesting situation that happened when a penalty was called during the 3-on-3 overtime. We then moved on to talk a little about the NBA and how the 76ers broke their winless streak against the L.A. Lakers. After that, we discussed the college football playoffs and which teams are going to be seated the highest for the tournament. We wrapped-up today talking about the Detroit Tigers and the NFL.
