Marquette, MI – March 1, 2016 – Ice fishing on Keweenaw Bay and Huron Bay became non-existent on Monday due to warm weather followed by heavy north winds. We spoke with Tammy from Indian Country Sports today and the news was not good. Both bays have since skimmed over again but are not fishable again yet. Also, snowmobile trails have taken a beating over the weekend in Baraga County. So it appears things are currently in a state of limbo. Have a listen:

Well we reconnected today with Walt Noa of Black Duck Outfitters. He explained why he changed the name, and talked about the new preserve location slightly closer to Marquette. We also spoke about dog safety on ice and about first steps in training your new puppy.
