Marquette, MI – January 29th, 2016 – In our first report today we spoke with the new owner of Indian Country Sports in L’Anse. Tammy told us that strong winds had broken up the sheet ice on Keweenaw Bay and blew it away. However, Huron Bay (north of L’Anse) had a decent amount of ice and lots of fish species were cooperating. Have a listen to what was working:
Next, we had DNR Wildlife Biologist, Brian Roell in the studio to talk about the current wolf track study, the latest bill in the U.S. Senate to remove the grey wolf from the endangered species list. We also briefly spoke about recently deceased DNR Widlife Tech, Bill Rollo. Hear our talk here:
The show was packed with great tunes today from Reckless Kelly, Alison Krause, Lester Flatt and of course our traditional Friday afternoon Outlaw Cut, “Take This Job and Shove It” by Johnny Paycheck.
Keep following us on Facebook and let us know what you want to hear.
Have a great weekend… catch you Monday.
