Lunch On Fresh Baked Bread!

I have a bread book at home that has recipes for all types of breads you could think of…rye, whole grain, baguette, sour dough and more. My wife, Debbie, suggested to me to try a batch of ciabatta bread. I have successfully baked pumpernickel, whole wheat, rye and white.IMG_1389

Ciabatta is a very basic white bread recipe using water, yeast, white flour along with salt, olive oil and sugar – almost close to pizza dough.

I know that this sandwich is very basic – meat & cheese, I usually add lettuce of leaf spinach but I didn’t have any greens to add. However, it turned out delicious and oh, so soft!!!

I love home cooking!!
