2/7/2015 Marquette, Michigan USA — The turntables were hot (as they are every Saturday night) during American Country Gold on 103-FXD. After being away from the microphone for about 2 weeks, Elmer Aho returned to wipe the dust off the turntables and get the show on the road for the Upper Peninsula highways!
During American Country Gold with Elmer Aho on Saturday night, Elmer spun Johnny Paycheck’s “She’s All I Got” on the turntables! Elmer also brought the Deerton Gals listening at their camp up in Deerton, Michigan “Rednecks, Whitesocks, and Blue Ribbon Beer” by Johnny Russell in the 9pm (eastern) hour on American Country Gold!
Elmer Aho was thrilled to be back at the microphone on Saturday night. Even though the Upper Peninsula roads did have some black ice, Elmer braved the drive from Gwinn on M-553 to bring you all the classics from the 1920’s through the 1980’s starting at 7pm Saturday night on American Country Gold!
Elmer Aho will be getting ready next weekend for the U.P. 200 Sled Dog Races! They’ll begin on February 12th. Make sure to cheer on the mushers during the U.P. 200 Sled Dog
