2/9/2015 Marquette, Michigan — My nephew Landyn just loves Elmer Aho and American Country Gold on 103-FXD! My nephew decided to drop by and pretend to be a ‘decoration’ during American Country Gold with Elmer Aho on Saturday night. My dad (his grandpa) placed my nephew in one of the chairs at the studio and rolled him around the hall. My nephew said with excitement as he was being rolled down the hall “I’m a decoration! I’m a decoration!” My nephew Landyn also got up close to the turntables and watched first hand just how Elmer and I run American Country Gold on Saturday night. Landyn is just shy of turning 4 years old but already loves radio just like his Uncle! Do we have a future broadcaster on our hands?
Landyn seemed to enjoy it so much that he even recorded a special greeting to air during Uncle Eric’s show on 103-FXD. He was a little nervous to get up close to the microphone, but after getting warmed up he seemed to adapt to it very well.
Landyn is going to be very famous one of these days! I’m very proud of my nephew. Elmer Aho was also impressed with how well Landyn did during his first recording session at Great Lakes Radio…
