4/14/2015 Ishpeming, Michigan — Waking up this morning and taking a quick look out my window, I noticed that the snow was virtually gone in my front yard. I wasn’t blinded by the snow. Which got me thinking… isn’t it amazing how fast the snow melts once it begins melting? I remember just 2 weeks ago having about 3-4 feet in my front and back yards. Today, there’s a small patch left in the center of my front yard.
The unsightly dead grass and dirt is now showing up. It’s synonymous with every Spring. Dead grass and dirt always go hand in hand. It’s time for you to whip out that rake and start cleaning up the dead leaves from last fall.
Looking back at this past winter, it was definitely an improved (and warmer) winter than last winter. We didn’t receive quite as much snow, and it wasn’t nearly as cold.
I’m glad to see that the snow will be melting away on Tax Day. The fact that I have to pay in to the IRS isn’t too appealing to me. If you’re getting a refund; spend it wisely. Just some words of wisdom.
