Marquette, MI – May 14, 2015 – Zach Quinnell is on a mission this spring to repair the shopping carts. Sand, dirt, ice, and salt all make the carts roll harder. Zach, GM at Tadych’s Econo Foods in Marquette, calls the cart repair pros from N.E.W. Pressure Washing in Wisconsin to re-weld, rework casters, and repair anything that’s in need of maintenance from this harsh winter on Econo’s carts.
Now this is a rather tedious job that requires professionals who do this work often. It was raining outside, so they moved under tent and set up a MASH-like gurney assembly line to repair the sick carts.
Customers will enjoy using the nice, easy to push, easy rolling carts to negotiate the thousands of items down the aisles at Econo Foods.
There are some 230 carts in the store at any given time, and that means there’s a lot of maintenance to do after our harsh U.P. winters. Thanks Zach and Econo for making our shopping experience even better.
